As an approved 3rd-party CDL testing site, Carolina CDL Training Center administers the official Class A and Class B skills tests for drivers who completed their training somewhere else. Testing is offered in either a manual or automatic transmission truck.
No more long waits at the DMV. Schedule with us, show up prepared, and complete every part of the skills exam in a single on-site session.

Walk the vehicle and demonstrate that you can identify components and confirm the truck is safe to operate.
Show your control on our full cone range - straight-line backing, offset and parallel maneuvers.
Demonstrate safe, confident driving on real roads under the eye of a certified examiner.
All three sections are administered on-site for both Class A and Class B.
Same price for Class A and Class B. Use your own truck or rent ours.
Test in your own manual or automatic vehicle. The most affordable option if you have access to a truck.
No truck of your own? Test in our well-maintained equipment, manual or automatic transmission.
Getting a skills-test slot at the DMV can mean weeks of waiting and a long drive on test day. As a 3rd-party testing site, we make it simpler. You schedule directly with Carolina CDL Training Center, test on a real cone range and on real roads, and finish all three sections in one on-site visit - whether you trained with us or somewhere else.
You can test in a manual or automatic transmission truck. If you test in a manual, your CDL carries no transmission restriction, which means you'll qualify to drive any stick-shift truck on the job. Test in an automatic and your license is restricted to automatic vehicles - still plenty of work out there, but worth knowing before you book.
Call us at (888) 878-9986 or send the contact form and tell us which class you need (A or B) and whether you'll bring your own truck or use ours. We'll confirm a date, walk you through what to bring, and get you on the schedule. Show up prepared and you could leave the same day having passed your skills exam.
Requirements can vary by state and situation. Call us and we'll confirm exactly what you need for your test.
If you have not completed an ELDT-compliant program, start with our full Class A or Class B course. You will train on real equipment over 160 hours, then test on the same range you trained on.

Apply or call and our team will get you scheduled - bring your own truck or test in ours.
